1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using fantasyhoopsedge.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of the platform means you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be 18 years of age or older to register for any account or feature on this platform. No exceptions. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Who You Are Contracting With

fantasyhoopsedge.com is operated by Fantasy Hoops Edge, an independent sole trader based in the United Arab Emirates. When you use this platform, or buy a Deep Edge season pass, your agreement is with Fantasy Hoops Edge("we", "us").

Fantasy Hoops Edge is an independently operated fantasy basketball analytics platform providing dynasty rankings, player projections, prospect analysis, league-specific tools, and related content. All content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, sports betting advice, gambling guidance, or a guarantee of any fantasy sports outcome. Fantasy Hoops Edge does not recommend or endorse any specific fantasy sports decision, trade, or wager.

3. Predictions Arena and Edge Points

The Predictions Arena is a free-to-play, skill-based prediction game. Participation is entirely free of charge.

The following terms govern Edge Points and the Predictions Arena without exception:

• Edge Points have no monetary value whatsoever.
• Edge Points cannot be redeemed for cash or any cash equivalent, converted into any currency (digital or otherwise), exchanged for goods or services, sold to any third party, or transferred to any other person or account.
• Accumulating Edge Points creates no legal entitlement to any monetary reward, material reward, prize, or benefit of any kind.
• The Predictions Arena does not constitute a prize pool, lottery, sweepstake, raffle, or any form of gambling or wagering.
• Fantasy Hoops Edge does not operate, host, or facilitate any form of prize competition or gambling activity.
• The Predictions Arena and Edge Points are provided solely for entertainment purposes.

Any interpretation of Edge Points or Predictions Arena participation as conferring monetary value or a right to financial reward is expressly excluded.

4. Accuracy of Information

Statistics, rankings, projections, and analytical content on this platform are sourced from third parties including Basketball Monster (via paid subscriber API, with documented authorisation) and Fantrax, and are compiled and presented by Fantasy Hoops Edge for informational and entertainment purposes only.

Fantasy Hoops Edge makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any content on this platform. Data may contain errors or become outdated. Users should not make fantasy sports decisions — including but not limited to trades, waiver claims, draft selections, or lineup choices — based solely on content published on fantasyhoopsedge.com.

You agree not to:

• Use this platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Use the platform for fraud, spam, or any attempt to obtain paid access without paying for it
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of Fantasy Hoops Edge or of any third party
• Introduce malware, probe or scan the platform or its infrastructure for vulnerabilities, or otherwise interfere with its security
• Share login credentials with any other person, or share paid access with anyone outside your own household
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any authentication, access control, or security feature of the platform
• Reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit any FHE content, data, rankings, or analysis without written permission
• Engage in any conduct that disrupts or impairs the platform's operation or the experience of other users

7. Third-Party Services

Fantasy Hoops Edge integrates with the Fantrax platform, takes payments through Paddle (see section 8), and references statistical data provided by Basketball Monster via paid subscriber API with documented authorisation. Fantasy Hoops Edge is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, reliability, or privacy practices of any third-party platform or data provider. Third-party services may be subject to outages, changes, or discontinuation without notice. You should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party platform independently before using it.

8. The Deep Edge Season Pass

The Deep Edge is the paid part of this platform. Access requires a season pass, unless we grant complimentary access at our discretion (for example to partners or pre-launch testers). Everything else on fantasyhoopsedge.com remains free.

The following terms apply to a season pass:

• One-time payment, not a subscription. A season pass is bought once. It does not renew, and you will never be charged automatically. There is nothing to cancel.
• One season. A pass covers the fantasy basketball season named at checkout, and access ends when that season's pass period closes. A pass for a later season must be bought separately, at whatever price applies then.
• What you get. A pass unlocks the Deep Edge tools that exist at the time, applied to the leagues you connect. The tools are analytics and content only: a pass confers no right to prize pools, gambling products, or monetary rewards of any kind.
• Price and discounts. The price is shown before you pay. Any founding-price or promotional discount applies on the terms advertised at the time it was offered, and can be used once.
• Changes to the tools. We may add, change, or remove individual Deep Edge tools during a season as the product develops. We will not remove the core of what a pass was sold for without making a refund available.

Payments. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle collects payment, calculates and remits any applicable taxes, issues your receipt, and handles refunds. Fantasy Hoops Edge never receives or stores your card details.

Payment, billing, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle buyer terms you accept at checkout. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which follows Paddle's refund policy. A refunded or charged-back pass ends access for that season.

9. Availability of the Platform

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that fantasyhoopsedge.com, The Deep Edge, or any individual tool will be available uninterrupted, on time, secure, or free of errors. Features depend on third-party services (including Fantrax, Supabase, Vercel, and Paddle) that may fail or change without notice, and we may take the platform offline for maintenance.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform, including to a paid season pass, where:

• you materially breach these terms;
• payment for a pass fails, is reversed, or is charged back;
• we reasonably believe your use presents a security or fraud risk; or
• you repeatedly or seriously violate the conduct rules in section 6.

Where the breach is minor and fixable, we will normally contact you first. You may stop using the platform, or ask us to delete your account, at any time — see the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fantasy Hoops Edge and its operator expressly disclaim liability for:

• Any inaccuracy, error, or omission in any data, statistic, ranking, projection, or analysis published on the platform
• Any decision made by a user in reliance on content published on fantasyhoopsedge.com
• Any fantasy sports losses, missed opportunities, or adverse outcomes connected to use of this platform
• Any outage, interruption, data loss, or failure of any third-party service, including Fantrax, Basketball Monster, Paddle, Vercel, and Supabase

Our total liability to any individual user for any claim arising under or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total amount that user paid to us for season passes in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including rights you may have under consumer protection law in your own country, which these terms do not affect.

12. Marketing Communications

If you register for an account or buy a season pass, you will receive transactional emails necessary to the operation of your account (including game confirmations and score notifications). Receipts and payment emails for a season pass are sent by Paddle. Transactional emails cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

If you opt in to marketing communications at the time of registration or subsequently, you may receive product updates, analysis newsletters, and other non-transactional communications from Fantasy Hoops Edge. We do not share your contact details with third-party marketers, and no affiliated individual or third-party brand will use your contact information for marketing purposes as a result of your registration with this platform.

You may opt out of non-transactional marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in every such email, or by contacting us at the address in section 17.

13. Force Majeure

Neither Fantasy Hoops Edgenor you will be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these terms where that failure or delay results from events beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including natural disasters, acts of government, infrastructure or internet outages, or the failure of third-party services outside that party's control.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. All remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

Fantasy Hoops Edge may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. When changes are made, the updated terms will be posted on the website with a revised effective date. Material changes will be notified on the platform. Continued use of fantasyhoopsedge.com after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Changes do not apply retrospectively to a season pass you have already bought. If you do not agree to revised terms, you should stop using the platform.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles. You consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Dubai for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the platform. This does not deprive you of the protection of consumer protection law in the country where you live, where that law applies to you and cannot be excluded by agreement.
